Paint a Mural 101 by Elloise Foster — An affordable course taking you through the step-by-step process of how to paint a mural. Plus, Elloise is amazingly talented and has done a lot of cool murals, aka she’s legit. Here’s her instagram.
Mural Painting Guide Book and Intro to Muraling Video by Pandr Design Co — These ladies are crushing it in the mural industry. Their resources are affordable and very helpful, and they’re just all around badass business owners. In fact, I took their Clueless to $100K webinar way back when, and it changed my whole outlook on business.
Better Letters Workshops by Mike Meyers — I took this workshop in Baltimore earlier this year. It taught me so much about traditional sign painting. Mike is a master! If he comes to your town, don’t miss it. I promise you it’s beyond worth it and is an investment in your craft.
If all else fails, get some real life experience by reaching out to a local muralist and offering to help!
There’s a lot to go through, so take your time. There’s also a lot of other resources available online and in person through workshops near you.
